This privacy policy (“Policy”) governs the manner in Webcommitment BV (“Webcommitment”, “we”, “us.” or “our”) collects, uses, maintains, discloses and processes the information collected from visitors of the webcommitment.nl customers and customers who use any of our services or products (collectively, the “Services”) (together referred to as “you” or “your”).
Our Site and Services are targeted to adults. We never knowingly collect personal information via our Site from those we know are under 16, and no part of our Site is structured to attract anyone under 16. This Policy does not apply to information collection activities outside of the Services, such as WEBCOMMITMENT’s products and services that our customer may use to collect information on their own behalf (“Customer Data”). For example, WEBCOMMITMENT provides interactive online platforms for its customers, and may process information on their behalf to provide those services. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file containing small amounts of information which is downloaded to/stored on your computer (or other internet enabled devices, such as a smartphone or tablet) when you visit a website. - work with us as a business partner or service provider
If you apply for a job with us via our Site, we collect the following personal information from you:
- full name
- email address
- postal address
- phone number
- answers to questions that will contain personal information, such as your proudest achievements, whether you are qualified to work in the UK etc.
We will use this personal information to:
- review your job application
- assess and determine whether we consider that a certain role is suitable for you

If you work with us as a business partner or service provider, we collect the following personal information from you:

WEBCOMMITMENT uses this personal information to:
- review/assess your suitability as a business partner or service provider
- provide/use services as required
In addition to the above, we use the information we collect from the above sources for the following purposes, to:
- send you technical notices, updates, security alerts, information regarding changes to our policies, and support and administrative messages
- prevent and address fraud, breach of policies or terms, and threats or harm
- conduct research, including focus groups and surveys
- fulfil any other business or commercial purposes at your direction or with your notice and/or consent.
Notwithstanding the above, we may use information that does not identify you (including information that has been aggregated or de-identified) for any purpose except as prohibited by applicable law. Information Collected Automatically
In addition, we automatically collect the following information when you use the Services:
- Service Use Data, including data about features you use, pages you visit, emails and view, products and services you view and purchase, the time of day you browse, and your referring and exiting pages.
- Device Data, including data about the type of device or browser you use, your device’s operating software, your internet service provider, your device’s regional and language settings, and device identifiers such as IP address.
- Location Data, including imprecise location data (such as location derived from an IP address or data that indicates a city or postal code level)

- Pixels (also known as web beacons), which are code embedded in a website, video, email, or advertisement that sends information about your use to a server. There are various types of pixels, including image pixels (which are small graphic images) and JavaScript pixels (which contains JavaScript code). When you access a website, video, email, or advertisement that contains a pixel, the pixel may permit us or a separate entity to drop or read cookies on your browser. Pixels are used in combination with cookies to track activity by a particular browser on a particular device. We incorporate pixels from separate entities that allow us to provide you with additional functionality, such as the ability to connect our Services with your social media account.
- Device Fingerprinting, which is the process of analyzing and combining sets of data elements from your device’s browser, such as JavaScript objects and installed fonts, to create a “fingerprint” of your device and uniquely identify your browser and device.
How we protect and store your personal information
We have adopted appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices, technical, organisational and security measures designed to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of the personal information that you share with us. How we share your personal information
We share your personal information in the manner and for the purposes described below:
- with service providers who help manage our business and deliver services. These service providers have agreed to confidentiality restrictions and use any information we share with them or which they collect on our behalf solely for the purpose of providing the contracted service to us. These include Amazon Web Services, Atlassian, Adobe, Google Cloud Platform, Cloudflare, Ubiquiti, Synology, Apple, Jazz HR, Hired.com, Asana, Github, SalesForce, Slack, Sentry, Strettons, Verisure and banks and payment providers to authorize and complete payments;
- with government organisations and agencies, law enforcement, regulators, to comply with all applicable laws, regulations and rules, and requests of law enforcement, regulatory and other governmental agencies;
- with credit reference agencies and organisations working to prevent fraud in financial services;
- with vendors and other parties for business and commercial purposes, including analytics companies. Vendors may act as our service providers, or in certain contexts, independently decide how to process your information.
- with our customers in connection with us processing information on their behalf. For example, we share information with our customers in order to facilitate your orders, maintain and administer your online accounts, respond to your questions and comments, comply with your requests, and otherwise comply with applicable law.
- for facilitating requests made at your direction;
- with your consent or for any other lawful purpose;
- we may share in aggregate, statistical form, information that does not identify you, regarding the visitors to our Site, traffic patterns, and Site usage with our partners, affiliates or advertisers.

We may use personal information to let you know about Services that we believe will be of interest to you and/or provide you with our newsletter. - Cookies and Pixels. Most browsers accept cookies by default. Please refer to our Cookie Policy, above, for instruction on disabling cookies.

Your Legal Rights and Choices
Legal basis for using your information
